Painted after a somewhat unanticipated moose encounter, this Russet Moose is my impression of a bull moose who stumbled into the cabin I was staying in a few sumers ago. As surprised as I was by his visit, I couldn’t help but be in awe of how massive and beautiful he was, a truly wild and powerful occupant of Alaska stopping in to greet us.
