A Syren and her Sockeye, inspired by an absolutely magical summer spent salmon fishing in Bristol Bay! It was my good luck to be able to fish with an all-girls crew aboard the fishing vessel Syren a few summers back, and it truly was one of the most delightful, full-on summers I’ve ever experience. This art is a celebration of hard work, girl-power, and wild, abundant, sustainable salmon runs!
